According to Maynard James Keenan , the new album from his Puscifer is very close to being released.

In an interview with Revolver Tool 's postponed tour was a reason for Puscifer to release new music, and Keenan said, "Whenever we start playing with guitarist Mat Mitchell or any of the projects, I always like to look further ahead and plan, so that I'm not overpromising."

“I prefer to over-deliver rather than over-promise. That’s always the best way. So we were thinking about 2021 because we would be wrapping up Tool projects and could start working, but then things started to get weird. As long as there’s no tour, there’s no reason not to release the music sooner, so we’re trying to get things done. It’s not ready now, but it’s very close and we’re planning a release in the fall [of the US],” said the artist.
